Olio Officina, the Observatory on the world of olive oils led by Luigi Caricato, will be participating in SIMEI 2024 with a large area called "L'Oleoteca di Olio Officina". This area will host an exhibition on the best examples of oil design and packaging along with a series of meetings on the same theme in a sustainable key.

The world of oil is a sector that needs to be renewed. This driving force must be felt as a requirement that cannot be delayed any further. What is needed is the creation of new and original forms of expression, offering, as far as possible, an exclusive identity. This does not mean imitating the design of other products but rather creating a new, unique and exclusive narrative that tells the story of extra virgin olive oil, its derivatives and related products with the right effectiveness and consistency.

The Olio Officina project stemmed from an idea initiated by Luigi Caricato. It extends over several operational areas, from publishing to the organisation of events, from training courses to focus groups on the quality of oils and design.
