The event "The ingredients of wine" has been an opportunity to discover an ambitious editorial project that brings together some of the most important associations in the wine sector. The work, promoted by the Academy of Agriculture of Turin, the OICCE (Interprofessional Organisation for Communication in Oenology) and the UGIVI (Union of Vine and Wine Jurists), has received the patronage of Assoenologi, Federvini and the Unione Italiana Vini.
This volume, enriched by the contribution of leading experts, is a fundamental reference point for those who want to know more about the ingredients and additives of wine. Its thematic sheets make it simple and practical to consult and it is also available in Ebook format. It is set to become a valuable ally for wine communicators and those who want to stay updated on the new legislation, which includes the obligation to indicate ingredients and nutritional values on the labels of wines and aromatised wine products.
The second part of the event hosted a round table entitled "Labelling of ingredients and nutritional information of wine: a report one year after the introduction of the regulatory requirement". Here leading experts from the wine sector discussed the impact of this important change on the supply chain.
