The pumping technique used for crushed grapes with dedicated pumps is not an original idea in itself, but the Helix-X®pump has an innovative design in terms of the impeller that can facilitate the pumping work without causing damage to the crushed grapes. Helix-X®uses a two-lobed propeller, designed to move whole or crushed grapes, which guarantees a significant integrity of the crushed grapes. Moreover, a system of valves that regulate the flow makes it possible to optimize the work of the pump.
